If you want to have bright eyes, in addition to reducing the use of 3C products and regular vision checkups, you can do the five good exercises to improve your eyesight: looking into the distance, blinking, eye rolling, eye catching, and eye relaxation.

Here are 5 eye exercises you can do to protect your eyes:

  1. Eye Massage: It can help relax the eye muscles and improve vision. You can do 3-5 sets of 10-15 repetitions per day. Specific practices are as follows: use the index finger and middle finger to gently massage the acupoints around the eyes, such as the saved bamboo point, the eye point, the fish waist point, etc.; the massage should be moderate, not too hard.
  2. Blinking: Studies have found that people blink less when they are using computers or reading than when they are engaged in other activities; blinking less often makes the eyes drier and more prone to fatigue. Therefore, when using electronic products, you should pay attention to blinking more often, take a 10-15 minute break every 20-30 minutes, and get up and move around to give your eyes a full rest.
  3. Eyeball relaxation: It can help the eye muscles get enough rest and improve vision. You can do 3-5 sets of 10-15 repetitions per day. Specific practices are as follows: sit in a chair, close your eyes, relax your whole body; imagine yourself in a beautiful landscape, feel the wind blowing on your face and the sun shining on your body; maintain the relaxed state for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Eyeball retracing: Eyeball retracing can help eye muscle coordination and improve vision. You can do 3-5 sets of 10-15 repetitions per day. The specific practice is as follows: find a thin stick or a pen, move it in the air, and let your eyes follow it; the direction of movement can be up and down, left and right, or in a spiral shape.
  5. Eye rolling: It can help the eye muscles to move and improve vision. You can do 3-5 sets per day, 10-15 times per set. The specific practice is as follows: first look upwards, then slowly roll your eyes to the right, then downwards, and finally to the left; repeat the above actions in the opposite direction.
